Our Story & Leadership

Led by Robert Krist — a millworker who is still on the floor.

Custom Woodshop Inc. was built on a simple observation: on luxury projects, the design is rarely the problem. Execution is. Schedules slip, finishes don't match, field dimensions move — and someone ends up paying for it. We engineered the entire company so that doesn't happen.

The result is an unusual shop for South Florida: the hand-eye sensibility of a trade craftsman, backed by numerical control, engineered drawings and a disciplined installation protocol.

We do not ship your project out and hope. Everything that arrives at your home was cut, assembled, sanded and sprayed in Suite 9 — where we can stop the line the moment something isn't right.

    Consultation & Scope

    We review plans, references and inspiration, agree on the right production tier, and give you a realistic investment range before anyone spends design hours.

  2. 02

    Design Verification

    We measure the real space — not the architect's plan — and produce dimensioned shop drawings alongside physical finish samples. You approve drawings, not renders.

  3. 03

    Precision Fabrication

    Approved drawings feed the CNC directly. Casework and fronts are cut, assembled in-shop, and every component passes QC before it enters the lacquer booth.

  4. 04

    Finishing & Color Matching

    Finished in a dedicated, environment-controlled booth. We match your approved sample under the project's actual lighting conditions, not shop light.

    No jobsite dust, no tone surprises, no improvised touch-ups in your living room.

    White-Glove Installation

    Floor and access protection, installation by our own crew, every hinge and drawer adjusted, and a final point-by-point walkthrough with you or your estate manager.
